Due to the nature of support for all of our local candidates and in fairness to everyone involved Wkvi will not post any comments pro or con for specific candidates. Wkvi will always post comments about issues that effect all of us in our multi county coverage area.

we need to urge our elected officals to vote the "right to work" legislation down. It is not good for the indiana economy. The only reason companies go to right to work states is because they will find cheap labor there! We must put a stop to the race to the bottom!Also right to work states have a higher on the job DEATH RATE this is a fact. Go to the AFL-CIO website to find out all the TRUE FACTS about this horrible legislation
Could you please post the list of all canidates running in the election. Posting them on the regular page of news would be great.
We need to urge our elected official to vote down all anti-union legislation. Indiana elected the them to help create jobs not help create jobs the pay less! Where is the focus on creating jobs?

Just when you think you’ve heard it all, our illustrious Congress quietly comes up with a new zinger to put their hands in your pockets, and pick them while you aren’t watching. Isn't this just wonderful!?!
Welfare recipients are now eligible to receive a FREE new cell phone, and approximately 70 FREE minutes of air time every month.
If you are as dumbfounded as I am google it and see for yourself!
SafeLink Wireless is a government supported program that provides a free cell phone and airtime each month for income-eligible customers. In other words, your tax dollars are being distributed to a wireless phone provider to provide welfare recipients with free cell phones and airtime. I don’t know about you, but as for me, enough is enough. We are $14 Trillion in debt, Congress is increasing the dole-out to dead beats.
The ship of State is sinking, and it’s sinking fast. The old concept of getting ahead through hard work has flown out the window. It has been replaced by Obama’s and Congress’ idea of “Hope and Change.” The country has changed all right, changed to "Why should I work for it, when I can get it for free?"
